Demantoid garnet contains titanium and manganese and is considered as the most valuable garnet due to its emerald-green color present due to the chromium element present in it. Surprisingly, demantoid garnet shows a higher dispersion than diamond and can be recognized by its characteristic horsetail inclusions, which are fine fibers of asbestos.
