SPESSARTITE GARNET
Also known as spessartine garnet, it has bright orange color when it is in the pure form but an increase in the iron makes the spessartite garnet darker orange to red. It is mainly found in Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Brazil, Australia, Sweden, Burma and the USA. Other crystals which are too small to facet are found in Germany and Italy.
