We offer gem testing facility for most of the gemstones that we sell and you can order it for each applicable item by either from the detailed view page of a product or also from the shopping cart where you can add, remove or edit the quantity of pieces that you want order for certification. The detailed explanation on how to use the gem testing option while you are placing your order is given in the ordering guide page.
These certificates are issued by The Gem Testing Laboratory (GTL), Jaipur, which is considered to be a very respected gemologocal laboratory world over and is a part of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India. The cost of certification is not included in the cost of item and whenever you order a certificate for an item, its cost gets added to your invoice.
The cost of gem testing certification for the respective categories is as follows:
Ruby / Sapphire (Single Stones, Parcel Lots, Pairs & Sets) - US$ 20.00 per piece
All gemstones except Ruby / Sapphire (Single Stones, Pairs & Sets) - US$ 12.00 per piece
All single colored gemstones except Ruby / Sapphire (Parcel Lots) - US$ 5.00 per piece
All multi colored gemstones except Ruby / Sapphire (Parcel Lots) - US$ 12.00 per piece
For all categories except parcel lots, when you order a gem testing certificate for an item, the cost of certification will apply on all the pieces in that item. In case of parcel lots, you can specify the number of pieces for certification from a minimum of 5 pieces up to the maximum number of pieces, that you are ordering from that item.
